Katrina Woods has been with Lifeline for 22 years as a volunteer.
Katrina has been a telephone counsellor and referral officer, and for many years has been Manager of the Narellan Lifeline shop where she volunteers her week-end work almost every week-end. Katrina also assists other Shop Managers with revamping their shops, and lifting their sales.
Frieda Nieuwenhuis
Frida has been with Lifeline for four years, offering her skills in the Administration Office, inputting data from the shop figures each week. Freida was appointed to the Lifeline Board just over 2 years ago. Freida and her husband Peter support our fund raising activities and counselling celebrations.
Larry Lake
Larry came as a volunteer in 2002 and he has been very helpful, obliging and trustworthy. He is now our storeperson at Narellan shop and continues to give many voluntary hours to support Lifeline
Ron Scirha
Ron is a quiet but very conscientious volunteer who checks on equipment that comes to Lifeline, repairs and items, and tags them and they go to the shops for sale. Ron’s gift of his expertise helps Lifeline raise much needed funds.
Chris Pearse
Chris has been helping in the fund raising section of Lifeline for over 3 years. Chris came to help at Lifeline when we needed volunteers and helps with all our fund raising activities. Chris is valued for the quiet and helpful way she goes about her volunteer work, and could simply not be done without when it comes to the Gift Wrapping Roster.
Ross and Sarah MacRaild
received a joint award. Sarah is a telephone counsellor and facilitator with the training courses, and our Receptionist at Lifeline. Sarah does so many additional things, she is always so willing to do the extra work that she has the wonderful skills to produce, especially on the computer. Ross comes in and helps in the building, with the difficult tasks yet they need to be done. Up a high ladder changing light bulbs, and erecting our beautiful fountain in the foyer. Both these people deserved this award.
