Most of us experience depression or stress of one kind or another at some stage of our lives. There are many reasons people phone - situations that are hard to cope with, stressful relationships, problems in the work place, loss of a loved one, suicide, loneliness, financial problems. Sometimes it is difficult to confide in family or friends - then it is good to know that Lifeline is there.

Suicide Prevention Task Force
An educational service to communities, where small teams of telephone counsellors will periodically travel to various districts within the area serviced by Lifeline Macarthur in order to provide information and eduaction on suicide prevention strategies.
Bereaved by Suicide Support Group
For people who have lost a loved one to suicide - phone 13 11 14. Whether the suicide was a recent experience or one that happened many years ago, the Bereaved by Suicide Support Group can help. Our support group will assist you to break down the silence that locks away the guilt, shame, anger, intense pain and the why.

Financial Counselling
If you are spending more than you recieve, call for help with money management and budgeting, negotiating with creditors, etc. They do not lend money. They are a free, confidential counselling service, experienced in dealing with creditors and able to act as an advocate. Phone 4645 7247 to make an appointment.
