Ben Muirhead came to the Narellan Lifeline shop in August 2001 via Centerlink, however once Ben was at retirement age he like so many other volunteers, decided to stay and continue to help Lifeline.
Ben is the “Mr Fix it man” and comes from an electrical and mechanical background where he was a sailor with the navy for many years.
Katrina often loads him up with all kinds of repairs to take home and bring them back all ready for sale.
In his spare time Ben is a keen golfer and plays at least once a week in Picton with his makes the Golden Golfers.
Nada Mihajlovic is the February Good Guy Winner. She was nominated by the Telephone Counselling section for all the extra work she undertakes, especially with the training of the Telephone Counsellors.
Nada has been a TC for a number of years and it seems, she like so many others, has trouble in saying no when she is asked to go the extra mile.
Even in her normal role as Assistant to Joe she has been known to come into the office at 6am to get her work done.
Nada also helps out when ever possible with Fund Raising and has already advised she will be able to help during the coming Book Fair.
