Open Gardens
Two well known gardening supportrers of Life,line Macarthur, Harry Waghorne and Lyle Whan will be opening their two ditinctive gardens to thepublic. Their gardens will open between 10am and 4pm Sunday October 19th 2008.
The home of Harry & Helen Waghorne is located at 59 Georgiana Crescent, Ambarvale.
the rainforest garden is amazing and teh back youar has been transfeormed into an Island Paradise with every kind of palm tree you could imagine. In fact there are so many palm trees that you could easily foret that juyst a few metres away is Appin Rd with its busy traffic.
The home of Lyle & gloria Whan is located at 39 Hansons Rd, Minto Heights.
There you will find a delightful 5 acres of lovingly created CHildrens Garden,. Children can stop along the way and have a quite read of do some colouring in.
Entry to the Gardens is a Donation to Lifeline Mcarthur.
The Rainforest Garden will also have plants for sale from the Ingleburn Horticultural Society & Garden Club
Coffee and Tea can be purchased at both Gardens, while you are their have a chat with the gardeners!
