Why should I volunteer my time?

Volunteering and serving your community can be a very personally rewarding activity.

Many of our volunteers have shared that volunteering has:

  • Provided personal and professional growth

  • Improved potential career opportunities

  • Allowed them to give back to their community, giving them a sense of achievement and pride

  • Allowed them to learn new skills and experience new things

  • Allowed them to meet new people and make new friends

  • Created a sense of belonging to the Lifeline community

  • Provided them with training and development opportunities

  • Given them a good feeling knowing they're making a difference in their community.

Corporate Volunteering

Do you have capacity to donate your time on behalf of your workplace? We welcome corporate volunteers that seek to support the community through their corporate social responsibility policies. Whether it's project based volunteering or an ongoing donation of time each quarter, your support makes a huge difference to Lifeline Macarthur and Western Sydney.
